FlightPower EVO LITE, EVO 25, EVO 30, EVO F3A Competition packs: This brings with it a fully rounded product lineup from FlightPower taking advantage of improvements in technology and a wealth of experience from the 2006/7 season EVO20 and EVO20NF products both in terms of manufacturing and market feedback.
We have reached a point in the technology now where we are no longer in a race to produce enough power to create exciting performance, we can already burn out motors at will in wrong setups. It's now time to get elegant with the different formulations available, each of which are equally high tech. For this reason, the new product line is divided in to three main sections and these exist to do different things.
EVO LITE. 350mAh up to 5350mAh. Light weight and lowered cost per unit capacity, all of the range except the 5350 is has an 18/28C performance. The 5350 is a 17/28C product. This range is designed for tiny foamies, park flyers, up to .50e and two Metre aerobatic aircraft where weight is a major factor in delightful flying performance, and flight duration is a priority for the pilot. Notable members of this group include a well proportioned 1320, and an 800 that fits the Blade and a 2500 that fits the T-Rex and .30e Katana and numerous applications. the EVOF3A 5350 Competition is the flagship of this group - a matched 10s pair of two 5s packs with super lightweight construction that has fast proving to be the 2007 pack of choice for International F3A competitors. Fast charge rates up to 2C approved in conjunction with balancing, the FlightPower V-Balance is ideally suited.
EVO 25 V-Power. 1200 - 5000mAh. Optimum balance of weight and power for helis and acrobatic aircraft. 25/40C for the 1200-1800s, and 25/50C for the 2170-5000 group. A stunning improvement on last seasons already excellent EVO 20 and EVO 20NF products, running more reliably with lower temperatures and truly sparkling performance. 600e sized helis have been transformed by EVO 25 making 6s setups a completely practical option. Notable members of this group are the outstandingly popular 2170 3s and 5000mAh 6s packs for the T-Rex 600, and the 3700 10s sticks for the Mikado Logo and Raptor 620e machines. For power hungry F3A competitors, there is a 5000mAh 10s F3A Competition pack with super light weight construction. Fast charge rates up to 2.5C approved in conjunction with balancing, the FlightPower V-Balance is ideally suited.
EVO 30 Premium. 700 - 4500mAh. A premium product with increased weight and cost per unit capacity for applications and pilots where only power matters. All products a whopping 30/60C. EVO 30 is designed primarily for EDF projects and .90 size 3D competition helis and F5B where flight time is less of a consideration than raw power and reliability under extreme loads counts for everything. Fast charge rates up to 3.0C approved in conjunction with balancing, the FlightPower V-Balance is ideally suited.
